TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
